Love the new arrivals at Billy Reid! I was already planning on sewing a puff skirt like this one (above) this week with my brand-spanking new sewing machine but now it is a definite must! Considering we live in a DIY culture climate and with people like Alice Waters receiving so much fame for her Edible Schoolyard program, I have to hope that a similar idea called the Make Something School will soon have just as big of an impact!

I *love* the beautiful video that accompanies Ralph Lauren’s Fall kids’ collection! It’s narrated by Harry Connick, Jr. & has the most beautiful water color palette to surround the children! Totally worth bopping over to the site whether you have kids or not!
