How much is that doggie in the window? Free.

We’ve been thinking for a while about getting a playmate for Dexter, and this weekend a unique opportunity presented itself for us to try out this rescued Wheaton terrier named Cassie. She’s about 4 years old and her hair is cut super short right now because of a bad reaction to a flea medicine about 6 weeks ago. Anyway, we’ve never done the adoption thing before because I have terrible allergies and have to have full bred terriers. Anyway, all that to say… very new experience.

Here’s the problem. She’s really lazy and while she’s super loving toward people, she isn’t getting along with Dexter. He’s still a hyper puppy and likes to be active, and she completely ignores him. On the bright side, she isn’t scared of him and doesn’t usually growl much now that it’s been a few days, but she does NOT need to stay here. Only problem is, the lady that gave her to us for a try-out doesn’t want to take her back because she’s trying to sell her house and doesn’t want another dog.

So I’m looking for a good home. We live in East Tennessee so if you’re in the South and are looking for a *loving* little puppy that really likes to sleep on a pillow all day, Cassie is for you. Feel free to shoot me an email… we’ll be waiting.

Oh, things I forgot: She is spade, house-trained and up to date on shots!
