I’m Hannah B.
It’s short for Hannah-Beth.
Lots of Southern Belles have 2 names; we aren’t sure why.
This is Husband.
He wears lots of bow ties and seersucker.
He has gorgeous, curly hair!
We live in a small little house
in a small little town in East Tennessee
with our Airedale terrier, Dexter.
Please note: He is named after the jazz musician, not the serial killer.
Terriers are fabulous. For example: 1 / 2 / 3

~ A Few Other Things You May Want to Know ~
I start every morning with coffee & NPR.
I make it a point to always have flowers in our home–my favorite is the peony.
I feel passionately that the Oxford Comma should always be used. This was the subject of what grew to be a very loud discussion with the intern in my 7th grade English class.
My desert island playlist would include old Jack Benny radio shows, Saint-Saens, Charles Ives, Louis Armstrong, and the Black Keys.
I have a crush on Cary Grant.
I always read the end of fiction books first so that I know the book is worth my time. However, I adore biographies and usually don’t read any fiction written post-WWII.
My favorite movie is The Happiest Millionaire. It was based on My Philadelphia Father, which my Husband found for me on our first Christmas together. It’s still one of the best gifts I’ve ever received.
I never travel without pearls and never leave the house without red lipstick.
I have an absolutely uncontrollable obsession with Disney. All things Disney.
My day job is as a visual designer at Scripps Networks Interactive. I get to do really cool things like work on the HGTV and DIY websites and play on Pinterest.
