Contributor to DIY Network’s Made + Remade

In April of 2013, I was asked to be a contributor for DIY Network’s new blog: Made + Remade. The normal blogging duties include how-tos and “Creative Genius” profiles. But in addition to that I’ve had the opportunity to represent DIY Network at a number of venues including Maker Faire, Skill Exchange at SF’s Makeshift Society, and market. I’ve also partnered with, and in a couple cases competed against, HGTV and other DIY bloggers. Below is a sampling of my work for Made + Remade.

Update: My cubicle was featured on BuzzFeed’s “54 Ways to Make Your Cubicle Suck Less” in October of 2014.

Last October, I organized a group of editors from HGTV & DIY to make short pumpkin decorating videos to post on DIY Network’s Instagram. There were so many cute ideas!

Necklaces made as part of the 12 Days of HGTV HOME Fabric in 2013. I styled the rest of the 12 Days shoot, which you can see here.

In 2013, Joann Fabric and Craft Store sponsored a mantle decor competition for a few of their blogger and a few of the Made + Remade bloggers. My mantle was vintage-inspired and included several fun diy projects. Eventually elements from each mantle ended up in the 2013 HGTV Holiday House.

In 2013, a few Made + Remade bloggers partnered with the editors of HGTV’s Design Happens to host a holiday party. I was involved with the bar, of course! Click here to see more.

This Spring, HGTV’s Design Happens asked me to participate in a bar cart challenge sponsored by Target. I styled this faux bar cart for our front porch.

In the Spring of 2014, I did a series of cleaning videos for DIY Network and YouTube. Click here to learn more about those.
